Durham v Celtic

Durham Women will host Celtic in a pre-season friendly on Sunday 9th August (2pm kick-off) - and tickets are on sale now!

The Blues face the Scottish Women’s Premier League side at South Shields FC as the preparations for the new Barclays Women’s Super League 2 campaign continue.

It will be supporters' first opportunity to see all our summer signings in action, as well as to re-connect with our returning players.

The fixture will also give fans the chance to experience the facilities at South Shields FC ahead of the club playing their League Cup group stage fixtures at the ground during the 2026/27 season. Find out more about that move HERE.

Tickets for the game with Celtic are on sale now, at the following reduced prices:

• Adult - £10
• Child (16 & Under) - £5
• 2026/27 Season Ticket Holder - FREE

We will communicate details of how 2026/27 Season Ticket Holders can claim their free ticket in due course.

Supporters will be able to select either a designated seat in the Main Stand or a spot in one of the terracing areas when they book their tickets.

To book tickets, follow the below steps:

• Click either the Adult or Child price category, this will take you to the Stadium Seat Map page.
• If you wish to select a seated ticket - click the relevant area of the stand (these are the coloured zones). You will then be able to select all the seats you need, and adjust the price categories between Adult and Child before purchasing your tickets.
• If you wish to select a terracing ticket - click either of the terracing zones then select how many Adult and Child tickets you require before purchasing your tickets.
• You will receive your e-tickets via email.
