Durham Women - Season Launch Night

Durham Women are hosting a FREE Season Launch Evening on Wednesday 5th August - and we’re inviting fans, businesses and everyone in the local community to join us!

Hosted at the Radisson Blu Hotel in the centre of Durham, the exciting evening will see us preview the new Barclays Women’s Super League 2 season and will give fans the chance to meet our new Head Coach and some of our first team players.

And the night will also include a special preview of the first episode from the fourth season of Ted Lasso. In this feel-good comedy, American football coach Ted Lasso (Jason Sudeikis) leads a UK soccer team with optimism, determination…and biscuits.

The evening will kick-off with a brief welcome from club staff, before Durham Hospital Radio commentator and Durham Roarcast host John Middleton will interview Willie Kirk and some of our players - while also taking questions from the floor.

And to thank our supporters for their incredible backing and loyalty over an uncertain summer, we’re making the whole evening FREE!

Event Venue

Parking is available at the hotel, and is pay on arrival - either in reception, by phone or at the kiosks in the car park.

There are nearby car parks which are free after 6pm.

The hotel is also a short walk from both Durham Train Station and Durham Bus Station.

The bar will be open throughout the evening.
